'Moin' as we say in Northern Germany and welcome to our Gudlak Restaurant & Standbar in Glücksburg! We welcome you to our multicultural, creatively combined european-asian cuisine where Asia meets German classics. We allowed ourselves to reinterpret typical dishes and diversified this into modern, colorful traditions. Whether you drop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner our service will provide you with a variety of options from an afternoon snack to a lovely meal in the evening with a great view to the sea. Our menu entails a little something for everyone of our guests.
Eat well, feel well
You can find us directly at the beach in Glücksburg. We have a large outdoor terrace that is quite hard to miss and the most beautiful view to the sea where you can watch the sun set. Whether you are taking a break from a nice walk at the beach or drop by with family and friends to enjoy some quality time - escaping your day-to-day habits we have everything you need to enjoy the calm atmosphere and nature that surrounds us. The name “Gudlak” comes from “Good luck!” and has been - well, let's say - derivatively changed with a northern touch.
The name does not intend to wish luck but to create awareness of our momentary luck in life. The relaxing feeling that we get when we place our toes in the sand or listen to the calming waves on the beach: 'Luck' is sometimes closer than you might think.
About us
Our Gudlak restaurant values and cherishes regional products. The closer we stay within our neighborhood, the better support our community has. Therefore we get our meat from the butcher around the corner; fish from the Flensburger fishersmarket and fresh vegetables from the farmers market. Our goal is for you to have an authentic experience with us and what better way to achieve that than by returning to our roots.
